TOMATILLO SALSA

Welcome back family!


In my house we always have salsa in our fridge. When I was learning how to make salsa this is the one I made and it has become a favorite of mine ever since. I love it on tacos!



Ingredients:

6 to 8 TOMATILLOS

2 to 5 JALAPEÑOS

2 GARLIC CLOVES

1/4 to 1/2 cup CILANTRO

SALT to taste


Instructions:

1-Peal the TOMATILLOS and boil them with the JALAPEÑOS in water til softened. About 5 to 10 minutes.


2-Place all ingredients minus the salt in the blender.


3-Using the pulse setting of your blender press and release about 3 to 4 times. This will keep the salsa from over blending and leave a more chunky consistency.


4-Pour the salsa to a container.


5-SALT to taste and stir with a spoon.
