Servings: 4


Ingredients:

12oz SHRIMP deveined and tail off

1 small ONION sliced

2 GARLIC CLOVES chopped

3 JALAPEÑO PEPPERS chopped

2 TOMATOES sliced

4 tbs UNSALTED BUTTER

7 oz can SPICY TOMATO SAUCE (EL PATO brand)

1/2 cup CILANTRO chopped

SALT

PEPPER


Instructions:

1-In a pan over medium heat add 2 tbs of BUTTER.


2-Once the butter is fully melted add the ONION and GARLIC CLOVES. Sauté until the onion becomes soft and translucent. Keep stirring. Approximately 2 minutes.


3-Add the JALAPEÑOS and TOMATOES to the pan. Continue to stir the vegetables for an additional 2 minutes.


4-Add the SPICY TOMATO SAUCE. Stir to mix with the vegetables. Approximately another minute. Remove from the pan and set aside.


5-In the same pan over medium heat add another 2 tbs of butter. Once melted add the SHRIMP. SALT and PEPPER to taste. Keep stirring until fullly cooked. Shrimp will turn a light pink once fully cooked.


6-Return the sautéed vegetables to the pan. Mix to incorporate with the shrimp.


7-Sprinkle the CILANTRO over the dish. Mix with a spoon to incorporate. Allow it to simmer for another 2 minutes. Enjoy!
