I’M BAAAACK!!! As I previously told you, I’ve been ill which made it difficult for me to share recipes with you. I’m finally feeling much better and super excited to be back!
This garlic bread was delicious! We enjoyed it with one of my favorite Italian dishes, chicken vesuvio.
Ingredients:
1 loaf Italian bread
6 tablespoons butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning
1 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1-Set an oven rack in the middle and preheat the oven’s broiler.
2-Cut the loaf into 4 inch slices.
3-Mix butter, garlic, oil, Italian seasoning in a bowl. Spread butter mixture on the inside of each slice of bread. Arrange bread slices, butter-side up, in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4-Drizzle the cheese over the bread.
5-Cook under the preheated broiler until slightly brown. Check frequently so they do not burn, about 3 minutes. Serve hot.
