EASY TORTILLA CHIPS SALSA

With just a few ingredients you will see how quick and easy it is to prepare.

I got this recipe years ago from an aunt of mine. The day she shared the salsa with us I remember everyone couldn’t stop eating it, 😂 I couldn’t believe how easy it was to prepare. I’ve done it the same ever since!


I hope your guests enjoy it as much as mine did!


Ingredients:

1 (28 oz) can CRUSHED TOMATO SAUCE

1 (28 oz) can pickled JALAPENO OR SERRANO PEPPERS

1/2 cup ONION chopped

1/2 cup CILANTRO chopped

1 to 2 tsp MEXICAN OREGANO

SALT to taste

LIME JUICE to taste


Instructions:

1-Chop 4 to 8 or more PEPPERS depending on how spicy you prefer the salsa. Chop the ONION and CILANTRO. Set all aside.


2-Pour the TOMATOE SAUCE in a serving bowl.


3-Add the PEPPERS, ONION, CILANTRO, OREGANO, SALT AND LIME JUICE to the salsa.


4-Pour the vinegar from the pickled peppers to the salsa. Add as much as you prefer. The more vinegar you add the spicier the salsa will be.


5-Stir the salsa with a spoon to incorporate all the ingredients. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
